The Chinese Calendar 5 - Ancient Time Piece

There is a reason that this portable ancient time piece is invented. Very useful for Yin FengShui Burial, Earth Breaking, Moving In and the sorts that related to date selections. Year back when we observed the fallacy of FlyingStar be it reformed or otherwise, when an observation was put up to compare 2 eatery shops side by side having the same facing and sitting. See Bright Hall - A Case Between Two Restaurants. The chicken rise shop is making good business while the other shop with all sorts of new age “voodoo” FengShui has to close down and change name to a Thai restaurant. Yet, until today, business is far from satisfactory. 

In the same vicinity, one street has been transformed into Dessert Street selling all kinds of Taiwanese Desserts and delicacies. Of all the 8 shops, 2 stood out to be making money with patron queuing up just to get a seat. Unlike the earlier case, these outlets are entirely opposite each other, thus they have the opposite sitting and facing.

Assuming that the theory of FlyingStar be it reformed or otherwise, holds water, one successful shop would have capitalized on the prosperous facing or sitting while the other don’t. Yet, both are equivalent successful. So, it draws down to one conclusion. It is not about sitting and facing. FlyingStar be it reformed or otherwise doesn’t work!

Close scrutiny revealed the secrets are within its YinYang structures, some called it XieZi. The formations of XieZi have been incorporated in the design of the outlets, as both coincidently, shared the same interior design with different flavors and themes. More analysis is in the QuanYuan case study. 

Instead of learning FlyingStar in whatever forms which sound bombastic that sounds good only in theory and awkward in application, FengShui lessons should start from the groundwork of observing YinYang, stipulated by Entering Earth Eye 入地眼. Forget about the other dimensions such as “voodoo” and understand well the working mechanism of the 5 elements, for whichever moves, one will be stationary.

Saying such, Door Tilting has never been a main criterion of these successful outlets.

FengShui Basic - Locating A Succesful Retail Outlet

In a series of articles to come, we shall discuss about the fundamental of FengShui as a per-cursor to our maiden workshop on FengShui. Lets look at the simple unsophisticated ways of selecting a successful retail outlet... 

Locating a successful retail outlet is an art. Entering Earth Eye 入地眼 stipulates the characteristic of Qi. Those who misunderstood such thought that water placements are the only answer.  By so doing what is generally known as water lizards as though they are water dragons were created. Pity that they also could not differentiate between jade belt and sickle formations. At the end, one succumb to other sorts of voodoo methods to make things work. 

Is this FengShui?

Not really. They are magician by professions. 

One of the pet techniques in locating successful outlets is to receive incoming Qi through a vertical Qi map. Yet both cases presented herein showed otherwise. 

One successful Japanese outlet with patrons queue up just to grab a chair while the other well known "Gui LingGao" stall vacant for the lack of patron. Both are receiving prosperous incoming Qi.

Completing Another Chapter of BaZi Workshop

Just completed another chapter of QuanYuan’s BaZi workshop and this time around, Master Ng has included another twist to it. Besides discussing the student’s enquiry into their own charts and their client’s charts, Master Ng took the opportunity to reveal the intricacies of QuanYuan’s own case studies and how FengShui plays an important role in making things happened the way it is destined for. We are lucky this time around, to be joint in by a consultant from a reputable practice that in his very own words he says;

“Luckily I am just doing commercial FengShui where the bottom line is profitability as residential and personal FengShui has so many challenges that without knowing BaZi are liked looking a needle in the haystack! There is just too many to be accountable for in residential and personal FengShui.”

While the rest of the fundamental teachings are the same (read here), Master Ng revealed application of the 10 Gods in another manner unique to himself, narrowing down to the hidden stems, which is not touched upon by many other academies. The interchangeably of the 10 gods, sometimes also call flipping of the chart among other, revealed the simultaneous application of inter and intra palaces with both ZiPing techniques overlay with the method of imagery for multiple dimensional applications.

Saving the best for the last, Master Ng touches on the chart of among others, DSK and surprisingly, he has given absolutely different perspectives to the otherwise controversial arguments arising in the forum. Both his method and interpretations of the Luck Pillars correspond to the real life event of DSK and the catch is, it is not even a follower chart and the key is in the hour pillar. To the surprise of many, even one ardent member of the Chinese Metaphysic Forum who happened to be his student has this to say;

“All these while of my practices, I’m only able to read some surface interpretation and simple incidents. This time, Master Ng has showed us the way how to naked a BaZi chart, layer by layer from many and different dimensions to confirm an answer. The inter-changing of 10 gods made my 10 gods went haywire, like you said '10 gods become oh my god'. It is so excited to find out more and more what is hidden inside, not only an incident but the surrounding too…”

Not enough of DSK, Master Ng throw in another surprise and speaking of the excellent structure of Cai Guan and Yin of a weak chart which happened to be a common characteristic of millionaire chart and yet through QuanYuan’s own case, why would a Cai Guan and Yin with deeply rooted resource, self and officer stars remained as a mistress of the red light district? Something must really have gone terribly wrong! That is a reason why reading the chart at the surface layer is artificial. Not enough of such, Master Ng briefly pointed the working mechanism of the cause and effect, some called Karma within the ancestral which among others, tell us what it is today is the action of yesterday. CaiGuan and Yin chart is not perfect after all.

One thing for sure, it is the depth of the interpretations and not just surface reading of the stems that has obviously made QuanYuan’s BaZi workshop as a gateway for many practitioners coming from other academies of Chinese Metaphysics to sharpen their skills. Acknowledging such, QuanYuan is looking forward to organize its maiden FengShui workshop somewhere in November. Unlike, other courses available, it is through invitation only. Just the same old advice from Master Ng, practice made perfect.

A Special Note To Master Ng's Students

To All Students of QuanYuan

Once again we would like to invite ALL OF YOU to our coming BaZi Workshop. Yes, Master Ng has personally invites all previous QuanYuan BaZi Workshop participants to attend. Moreover, he hoped that you had given yourself enough time to polish your skill and this coming workshop would be a refresher course to everyone alike. 

Speaking to our first batch of students, you would realize that a repeated session is so much more interesting. The contents may be the same but because you have emerged yourself with different scenario, via personal efforts, questions, the forum, even direct communications with Master Ng, you will begin to see more things and understand the instruction better. Master Ng is very proud of our diligent students who often email him “difficult” chart, even though it is not in the syllabus. BaZi FengShui Predisposition Workshop - Calling for Enrollment

We have not been updating the blog as often as we wish due to increasing work loads. At least we know what works and what doesn't. Furthermore, we observed the current obsessions with the announcement of clients' testimonials where the norm is it should have been remained confidential. Although it is always sweet to state that the client's permission has been granted for such doing. Perhaps what we appreciate most is what had been done to make things turn around for the better rather then a whole loads of jargon that don't ring a bell at all. Perhaps the worst of the lots is self glorification.

Next, in an anticipation for the next general election, the masses have been bombarded again and again with images of May 13 leading to the concepts of One Malaysia. We let you to speculate further what is the sentiment the government is trying to bring about with the expanse of the tax payer money in paying for the expansive adverts over prime time? More importantly has this got to do with our polluted water dragon of the Klang and the Gombak rivers or simply self glorification at a national level?

The past QingMing has seen us busy auditing Yin FengShui. We had the opportunity to  review the ancestral grave of family from the real estate industry. This family use to be the Big Shot . Two generation down the road, everything mess up. Has it got to do with this Tree as shown above?

Matching with the BaZi of the descendant, everything falls into place. HUAT AH With A Stove

Another article on Chinese New Year FengShui. Remember we wrote about 财神到 (Arrival of The God of Prosperity). One novel methods which were make known to us is the use of the earthen stove to receive good Qi. Yes a cooking stove in lieu of the joss urn. Here is how it is applied: -

1. Place the stove in the center of the living room.

2. Based on the Purple White natal chart of XinMao year, measure with the LuoPan the entry of the favorable star via openings to the living room.

3. Open up the relevant favorable windows/doors accordance to the natal chart.

4. Light up the stove and kept it burning for at least 2 hours.

5. Select a good date for that matter.

What it did not specify is where the Fire mouth should be aligned to face.

For the matter of discussion, we did gossip about stove in Kitchen Gossips, moreover the above method seems to contradict the following assumptions: -

1. The uses of stove are to turn bad Qi into good Qi via the fire mouth. So, why opens up the entire favorable Qi intake and closed up the entire unfavorable Qi opening? What if the main door is receiving unfavorable Qi?

2. The center of the space should be kept undisturbed. Why put a stove in the middle of the living room?

Perhaps anyone who has tried that and prosper would like to drop us a note. While the Chinese New Year Festival is approaching to “Chap Goh Mei”, we wish all our reader: -

Things That They Don't Teach In FengShui School

What we have discussed earlier are some thoughts that you don’t need to spend unnecessarily for placebo FengShui comes every year and dealing with annual afflictions are just simple method of lay back and do nothing about it, contrary to some irresponsible recommendations of FengShui monster, to fight SanSha and the sort. If there is existing external ShaQi, dial 911 and call for FengShui masters. Only they can fix the problem.

Recommendations of locating the main door, headboard and stove, found in annual FengShui forecast book, at locations deemed to have been visited by the annual favorable star is highly simplified. You will still not able to benefits from these noble stars unless, a genuine FengShui master does the ShouQi or NaQi for you, which means to say, they must be there to make the necessary alignment for you in respect of the structure of your house within a given time. That is one good reason; they have good business before the arriving of every New Year! A DIY is as best as to receive the good effects of Spring Cleaning. If it really comes true then you believe that the writer is God in disguise of a man and you will go for his professional advice in due course. If it does not come true, then by virtue of the exclusion clause printed in small print in among the front pages, you cannot do anything. That is a very good reason why it is a must from commercial FengShui masters to publish annual FengShui forecasts. 

However, it is still a noble effort. As in betweens we are able to see how such nobilities are afflicted in some ways or another through another layer called, annual ShenSha usually found in the front few pages of the ThongSheng or the Almanac. A subject we shall discuss if times permit.

For completeness, let us look at the Purple White for XinMao year as part of QiMen DunJia methodology, for the upper period 8, XinMao year with the 5 yellow in the palace of growth. So, technically the 5 yellow for this year is a noble one. However, it shares the same palace with TaiSui, so in another ShenSha dimensions, it means something else, which we shall discuss in the topic of ShenSha. Whereas, 9 are in the palace of controlling out, so technically speaking it is a benevolent 9 purple caught in a difficult situation for it to display its nobility. Meeting SuiPo and SanSha, it also means something else. If there is a physical door in that sector, what does it opens up in terms of the “Human Door”, thus what sort of “gods” of nobility are we inviting through such “door”?

In conclusion, there are many dimensions into an otherwise, simple chart of annual flying star. Saying thus, we can still DIY but be prepare if nothing happens. That is already a good sign of auspiciousness!

Plug In Plug Out , Fall In Fall Out

Last weekend was a very good day. While we are busy assisting an initiation of a Daoist establishment, we are glad that our establishment is growing slowly but steadily. We noticed something really strange happening with the local metaphysics trends. We noticed that practitioners bickering one another over trivial issues.  While other disputes are a little mind boggling, just liked one saying which hammer a point, when the "barang" (your stuff) don't work, the "parang" (chopper) will come. It just to say a whole loads of insanity. Where is our humanity in the face of this trade?

Has it got to do with our hot weather conditions? The ninth lunar month could have been rainy and the start of the monsoon for both Malaysia and Singapore. What we had witnessed is nothing similar to the nature of autumn and chrysanthemum blooming but with haze blanketing the horizon. An indication of a chaotic future with one thing very significant that is metaphysics practices begin to fall out one after another and some may have to pack and go. We may pride ourselves with the ability to design our destiny but why would we design our practices in such a manner that it will ends pre-maturely? The awful things are it usually ends with a sour note, no matter how it is camouflaged. Call it fate over sheer incompetence? 

A stale chapter has been closed and a new beginning is here. We would like to take this opportunity to inform that our preparatory BaZi workshop early birds enrolment and intake has been long expired and are officially closed. In any of the annual Animal prediction book, there is always the following sector called auspicious and inauspicious sectors. Auspicious is when the auspicious Star in the body of Qi arriving at the particular sector and the opposite apply to the inauspicious sector. This annual Qi map is derived from the LoShu with XinMao annual star 7 entering the center palace of the LoShu and lean forward. Such has been a tradition for FengShui master to do an annual audit for annual makeover and yes, also make some money for the FengShui master liked one master said, FengShui master also need to be fed what! So, quickly pick up your iPhone 4 and start calling!

Do you need annual FengShui makeover for your house? No, when your house FengShui has been initially taken cared off and there is no construction work nearby the vicinity. In the olden days, people do not chase after annual stars. The annual natal chart in the ThongShu is only for selecting auspicious date. However, they use different doors for different years! Just liked different iPhone for different season. FengShui has been engineered from the start. The richer you are the more doors you have for your Big Mansion. That is where 8 Mansions are a hit on those days, liked our current iPhone 4.

Yes, when you are very competitive and just want to capitalize on everything within your path (synonymous for the HockKien slang of KiaSu). How to go about it? Just for academic discussion, the book says in XinMao year, the following is the natal Qi map chart with 7 in the center of the LoShu grid. For convenient, plot out your house natal chart with annual star 7 from any of the freeware available from the internet. The so called auspicious star is 1,6,8 and 4. Star 9 is conditional. If it is supported by structure it is an auspicious star. So these locations of, Northwest, Northeast, Southwest, Southeast and assumedly, West are all auspicious sectors. The rest are inauspicious sectors, especially the 5 yellow in the East. If your main door is located in these auspicious sectors, then a big congratulation to you, otherwise pick up your iPhone 4 and call your FengShui master for rescue!

Is it doomsday 2012 if your main door is located at these inauspicious sectors? Again, this is a very stereotypical analysis of the annual Qi map, which has proven so damn wrong in real life application. When you do an in-depth analysis with your BaZi, you will see why NOT ALL houses with door locating at the so called annual auspicious sector prosperous and so is vice versa.
