子孙平安 Blessed Generation

When the goings gets tough, the tough gets going. We have not seen the light at the end of the tunnel yet. While some of the academy is proclaiming yet another investment scheme via their money making courses, we seek to look for alternative manners to provide lights to those who are in need of them. We seek to provide a FREE profiler, allowing the right person to get the right job or the right boss to hire the right staff. Crooked nose is not the criteria neither are a crooked eye.

We have seen how behavioral sciences are used to profile the potential candidates for the available vacancies. Yet, it is through a series of questionnaires, interviews and assumptions that the profiles are assigned to each and every candidate. The known psychological based profilers among others are DISC, Temperament, Personality Plus and others. We seek to rely on BaZi instead as a mechanism of profiling. Just the date of birth with the time of birth is sufficient to know the temperament as Sanguine, Choleric, Melancholic and Phlegmatic or even some may consider Supine, being the fifth temperament. More of the classifications can be derived from
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Five_Temperaments .

It is not going to be an easy task in looking at the ZiPing 10 gods to understand their intricate characteristic. It is worth the effort especially in times liked these; as it is to be provided FREE. As a non-profit endeavors modeled similar to a “wiki”, we seek support from all those who are learned, interested and generous to contribute to such cause, by dropping an email to me to register your interest. I believe this effort may not rock the world but it will provide a pathway for our generation to come to look at BaZi not as an art of superstition but a code of life, proudly preserved for the future generations as intended as ZiPing, ZiSun PingAnn 子孙平安 .

Dear David,

I've been reading your blog with much interest given a recent accidental discovery of this strange phenomenon called Bazi.

What started as a few innocent gifts from my girlfriend's mother on Chinese Astrology from the JY and LT of this world (on which I remain sceptical) has manifested into something far more addictive.

I had little idea that an innocent websearch on the subject matter could turn up such an interesting plethora of information and blog pages on man's most divine question. That is, who we are and where we're headed?

Problem is, there's scant information available for a 'newbie' like me. In the Bond spoof, Austin Powers, Doctor Evil's immortal words, 'throw me a bone here Scott' signify my hopeful call to action. My question is, where to seek? I can continue to read the blogs of those too few or seek out fresh channels.

I would be most humbly appreciative of any help on this subject.

Kind regards,

C

Dear C,

Thanks for spending your time reading my blog. I appreciate it. You may also wish to read the following blog called http://bazidiary.com , owned by Mr. Chris Chan, CEO of a public listed software company here in Malaysia. Mr Chris and I meet up in cyber space and we share many things in common especially in BaZi and best of all we believed in open source system.

What started as a gifts is an avenue opening up to you with the destiny of Chinese Metaphysics. It is not only BaZi, but the entire worldview of Chinese Civilization. Welcome to the metaphysical domain.

The logic and science of BaZi stems from the 5 processes. This is very simple. The complexity is annexed to the permutations and corellations matching your real life events. Therefore there 2 parts to the readings.

First is called structural readings, where one just read real life event from the chart given.

Second is called divination readings, where time space is warp off just at a particular point to get the answer for a questioned asked. Some called this as the art of attraction.

You will have to start from somewhere, usually books. In your case JY and VK book would be fine. I do not recommend LT book. However JY book may be confusing. Next enrol for a life course. JY class is not recommended for the beginner. You may also study with the rest except LT.

As I do not conduct any classes in BaZi at the moment, you may write to me or Chris Chan if you have any question to clarify. Just do not ask me to teach you online, it will be fine.

Will let you know if one fine day, I may teach BaZi with FengShui as well. Meantime, I suppose you will learn something from my blog.

Happy Hunting.

Warmest Regards,
Yifengshui

Hi David,

This is a good idea you bring.
In the West already some companies do use Western astrology to get some insight in basic personality of job candidates.

The wikipedia article about 5 temperaments is quite good.
As far as I can tell: Water= melancholic, Fire= choleric, Wood(air)= sanguine, Metal(ether) = phlegmatic, Earth= supine.
The difficulty is in how to link it to the 4p chart.
If the DM is very weak, then the energy/temperament related to the other parts of the chart may be dominant.

Similar links can be made between the 9 Stars /Nine Star Ki and the enneagram personalities.
See: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Enneagram_of_Personality

There is great potential in this kind of work and possible to link Chinese metaphysics with already established research about temperament/personality types.

Hi Danny,

Yes indeed, the difficulty is obvious. That is why this "wiki" will be set on a rule based platforms contributed by others liked yourself and other masters as well.

Cheers
