If It Isn't Broken It Is Not Worth Mending

After reading the commentary article on betrayal on another blog http://candicelai.blogspot.com/ which has given me a sense of remorse as though the writer has been in a state of betrayal, another article on manipulation of FengShui has taken place, with a gross broad brush appeal of the hollowness and shallowness of content contained within. I have taken the liberty to view these from other more un-manipulative angles instead.

KanYu and FengShui have entirely different meanings. The former is a study of Heaven & Earth and the later is an art of riding Qi. These systems coexist with the fundamental evolution of the Chinese culture called civilization. It transcends the notion of arts and science. It is a way of life, the Dao. Understood by the wise, embraced by the strong and support of the weak.

Such Dao has been upheld by the wise, butchered by the wicked, results are seen from the notion of manipulative to betrayal, all rooted on the principle of greed, hatred and delusion, in perfect harmony. The end result, such an art becomes a mockery defiant from its original intend as to safe others, now, to destroy others. What a shame. This is called abuse.

Historically speaking, the Hans Chinese resists handing over such knowledge as KanYu to the Ching Dynasty. What were handed over were indeed, re-engineered versions which contain a lot of discrepancies and fallacies. The study of Yi, never teaches others to fight using the art of KanYu. It only teaches others, as in the art of war, to protect one own land using the advantages of the 5 elements and timing. Embracing changes to ones advantage that is the principle.

Since then, the art has been manipulated and abused beyond recognition that even the dead are not spared its peace at 6 feet under. This is the dawn of the emergence of another breed of FengShui masters who’s teaching are rooted on the notion of to fight… Could fighting SanSha have its origin from there?

I am amused even by the fact that FengShui masters, today as has been forewarned by others as from the pedigree of fake origins, called “ShenKoon”, are advocating cure such as having a house with a crooked door to a crooked door frames and I would have thought it may be coming from a crooked mind with a crooked nose as well.

Liked the saying goes, if it isn’t broken it is not worth mending. The Chinese has such a saying, when will water returns to its source if it has not calm down meeting a dead end.

David,

Speaking of betrayal, you may want to check out the followings: -

"...What does one does one make up of an individual who allegedly has such list of EQ showing?

#there is always war-like issue towards biz partners/instructors/students/employees who split. typical, bewildering ping-pong exchanges, threats of litigations and allegations of this and that will ensue.

#cant think of anyone who is anti-competition to the point of cutting arms, legs and long-term ties. cant think of anyone who is competent but left the school on good terms. See who’s-who list of people some of you may know as very reasonable people:
Biz partners: First YCH, now Loke WL.
Instructors: First Angel de Para, Vin Leo, now TK Lee-(soon-to-be). – (apologies for missing many out – this is for no. 1 instructor.)
Students: First Angel de Para, Vin Leo, now Zoe Foo – (apologies for missing many out – this is for A star students/confidantes. Popular on their own merits.)
Employees: First the very very hardworking Eric Teoh, now the very very frustrated Ken.

One cant argue that ALL of them are equally bad people who have gone mad, can we? (Yes, there are suggestions that these people became mentally challenged and therefore challenged the master.)

#cant think of any existing loyal instructors who can hold a candle without living under his shadow after attending all his courses.

#cant think of a school which has ‘commissions within commissions structures’. cant think of a competent ceo who dunno his staff are cutting left-right-center. no. 1 big-butt staff would openly solicit business for their no. 1 instructor and get commissions from students who sort fengshui services. Their no. 1 instructor would openly tell students in class that the young master is too busy and he is the no. 1 disciple. Then turn around and charge 150% more – if you are lucky. You want a good land in the famous cemetery hot on every Sun? give the no. 1 bb staff a good commission and you will be receiving best gas spot to rest in peace.

#cant think of a tv program that is so educational and hot that the forum would be so dead. How many hits is wofs still having a day?

#cant think of anyone who put up so much pressure to prevent students from learning from his own masters. current masters on payroll (oops! you sure dun expect the masters to treat a marketer like the no. 1 disciple do you?):
landform & San He go to lihonchufengshui.com/front/bin/ptdetail.phtml?Part=001&Category=8770 - this article has his name
bazi go to: lamyatka.com/index.htm
xkdg go to: chanks.pc86.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=2&Itemid=3
there is a former instructor Rina Lee, then Margaret Yip who were forbidden to attend master Lee’s and master Lam classes. It was suggested to the masters that they have suspicious characters – similar to traitors.

#cant think of a master who dismiss religion so much but pray in his own office. For peace or more prosperity? (I nv say it is Joey.)

#cant think of anyone who claims to be the ambassador of an industry in the name of true knowledge, but would continue to push out carts and carts of books which you guys oredi discussed – know a little but never get to the end of the tunnel.
Am sure those on above list are willing to tell you more things about Joey…. But maybe they are busy thinking of better schemes or beating his knowledge. I dunno. Learning Fengshui is like fighting with devil everyday. First meet the devils, then either become the devil yourself or become the angel, who never speaks the truth of the devil. So maybe I am the devil..."

Good luck,

F

Hi F,

I begin to sense that this chap may be the same guy as Las_serie who spill the beans regarding the "ShenKoon" 4the Generation of Tan Yang Wu.

It begins to sound spooky.

Cheers

David,

How many of those academies catering to the western market would want to jeopardise their chance to sound and look scientific in the ears and eyes of those they want to make money from? I was at one time trying to do an about turn and tried unsuccessfully to sound scientific in my writings ( when I was marketing for that professori.....). Luckily I did not go too far, for if I did, there is no way I could turn back.

One of the most heart breaking things that some of those WOG FS men proclaimed was the detachment of FS and other arts from the Dao. They claimed that FS has nothing to do with Daoism as a religion......

But little did they know that when they tread on the other side, and are not prepared to withstand the repercussions, they would never know what hit them.......

Lets just hope some of those already in the bandwagon wakes up to this irreversible fact......

I think there is a space between science and the Taoist Arts we can explore. We can either see it from the scientific perspective or from a Taoist point of view, by changing sides we can see each other better.

In music, there is the notes and the space between the notes, if architecture is "frozen music", then may be in Feng Shui, we can explore this link between the two ways of looking at the world.

The space is, in conventional terms -- only a thin line. But in reality it is so gray that a person untrained in the Dao, would not know when they had crossed the "line".

Yes, for those more inclined to believe in science can look at this issue from both angles till they are satisfied with what they see or want to see.

When you speak about this thin line, I thought about the story of the Monkey King and the Buddha's palm...
