8 Mansions And The Healing Hands

While digging through the old files, one caught my attention. It was in year 2007; a friend introduces us to a young family with 2 beautiful boys. The boys had health issue, one related to urinary problem, while the other was related to foot and mouth disease or some sort, after they move into the house in 2007. The father of these boys was a believer of FengShui. He called a number of these masters and all that was administered was temporary relieved with the boy’s health moving ups and downs liked Yo-Yo. He spends a lot of money in Hospital’s bills and medicines for his kids. It was quite a sad story. Cases liked these, as far as we think, are for charity basis. That is why we said, charity is beyond money.

This is also the case that demonstrated to us, that BaZhai can work hand in hand with the rest of the systems of Chinese Metaphysics, especially Leaning Star. The house is sitting Kun facing Gen. In 2007, annual Gua 2, 5 yellow arrived at facing Gen. The front of the house has a big bright hall, empty land, overly Yang. Distance facing a mountain which is broken. So, in terms of Xiang and Qi, the 5 yellow is “activated”. Again, why is it affecting the kids? More in yifengshui (inner teachings).

Purple White is instrumental in deriving divination on the cause and the affected people. To chase after the annual star and monthly star would not be a good choice for remedy. So, at that point of time, we experimented with BaZhai.

With any terrace house in Malaysia, the internal room layout is fixed. One cannot just smack the 9 grid into the house layout and say, hey! Put the kids in this TianYi room and Boom! The issue resolved! With the Kun sitting house, both rooms are straddled among LiuSha, FuWei or TianYi. So, naturally TianYi is a better room for the kids to sleep. The internal setting out is reserved for yifengshui (inner teachings).

The results were astonishing. The last feedback was that the kids no longer need to go to the hospital and their conditions stabilized, till today (3 years later). Who say, BaZhai cannot work? Better, it does not take too long to work. The working mechanism of BaZhai and Leaning Star are explained in details in yifengshui (inner teachings), meanwhile to all BaZhai enthusiasts, if your remedy using BaZhai especially in the area of health does not brings you the expected results, the problem is not in the theory but the method may have been wrongly apply.

We welcome your case study if you have any and you are willing to share in the area of BaZhai or other methods as well. Just liked what we had said in the other exchange, “unless otherwise we break our own barrier and test out what we know at least a 100 times without fails, then we can be assured that the method we apply is correct, otherwise it is just for theory sake. Worst still if we shroud ourselves with the veils of walls, each holding the so called "secret" so tightly and remains ignorant of the truth out there. That is what I meant when I wrote; sometimes we built walls not to keep others from coming in but to see who is care enough to knock them down…”.

Usually I like to read your articles on this site. This one would be interesting but obviously the interesting part is reserved for "inner teaching".
I guess tough luck for outsiders?!

S,

In the beginning, we don't actually put up case studies. When we see that there are good practitioners who is so willing to the discuss the more theoretical approach in their respective blog, in comes to mind that we might as well do our fair share to tell of the cases we had collectively encountered minus the recipe. That without saying, also met with various objections.

Even that, at one point we had contemplated to make yifengshui (inner teachings) public. Before we can do that we heard now that the other contemporary good blog which dish out free information has been locked, it comes to mind that we have may have make the right choice from the very beginning, to keep yifengshui (inner teachings) private.

For all purposes, we may also think of making this blog private and let only the invited reader has access via registration. No doubt we may not be the best blogger in Chinese Metaphysics in town, we believed this blog has its purpose as well.

No promise, lets just see what is going to happen next?

Cheers

Hi David,

I understand what you are saying, it is difficult to draw a line how much to write in a blog the same applies for the guests visiting.

in any case, thanks for your blog and the effort you make,
s.

PS: Since some people do not know how a terrace house (with the internal room layout fixed) in Malaysia looks like, maybe you want to show a floorplan?

S,

Yup, a floor plan is good to demonstrate our Malaysia terrace house look. Perhaps in another case, as we did a fair share in terrace house case as compared to our contemporary in Singapore, with their apartments.

Hi David,

Did their ming gua also played a role?

akaO

akaO,

Yes, Ming Gua plays a role. It is however, difficult to quantify the significant amount of effects a House Gua played as compared to a Ming Gua.

Dear Master Yi,
Regarding to this Ba Zhai Method, I've been taught different way to calculate The Ming Gua...
For 2009 normally it is Li Gua and use the Gua Transformation to assigning the stars, but from my calculation it is Xun Gua...
The former corresponds to EH and the Later to LH? Or is it related to Qi and Xiang differentiation?

Hi Rendy,

Can you please explain as what do you mean by "...Transformation to assigning the stars, but from my calculation it is Xun Gua...
The former corresponds to EH and the Later to LH? Or is it related to Qi and Xiang differentiation?"

Cheers

Dear Master Yi,
The transformation I meant was the so called Greater Wandering Transformation to array the Sheng Qi, Tian Yi, Fu Wei, and the rest through the 8 Gua.
I'm confused becos there are two ways of counting the Gua for the year.
One school taught for 2009 it is Li Trigram on which the transformation will be based, but other school taught it is Xun trigram to start with the transformation. Of cos both will result in different chart.
Really curious what is the difference between the two? and why are there 2 version? What I "feel" the former has something to do with LH and the later has something to do with EH? The later also also has same pattern with Hexagram of the year -> for 2009 Ji Chou year up Qian down Zhen.

Hi Rendy,

The example you had given as in Li Gua by virtue of Yao Transformation, you obtain what is known as Greater Wandering Transformation. This is the principle as in the book.

However, Li belongs to the groups of Qian, Li, Gen and Zhen, where its EH and LH is interconnected. Xun belongs to the Kun, Kan, Xun and Dui in terms of its EH and LH arrangement.

So, can you elaborate a little as to where do you derive Xun Gua from?

Dear Master Yi,
It is also from 9 but not read as Li Gua, it is read as FuBi Yin Wood instead. Yin Wood = Xun Gua?

DAVID YEK TAK WAI (email:yektakwai@hotmail.com) said...

Hi Rendy,

Now I understand where you are coming from.

Again the question of Shu, Qi and Xiang.

BaZhai has no Gua 5. Whenever one is Gua 5, the male takes Gua 8 and the female takes Gua 2. However in XuanKong there is a Gua 5. Why such a different?

Come back to Gua 9. Supposedly to be FuBi. However, is FuBi of 9 is a wood Qi? Gua 1, TangLang is wood Qi but why not water Qi as in XuanKong?

So, by mixing up all these without proper understanding of Shu, Qi and Xiang, how to apply? One cannot say 9 suddenly becomes 4? There must be a consistent basis underlying the formula. It is this consistent basis one needs to understand.

Cheers.
